Annual review 2021: ICRC regional delegation for the gulf cooperation council countries
Each year the ICRC Regional Delegation for the Gulf Cooperation Countries conducts activities across Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
The ICRC works to promote and ensure respect for the rules of war, and facilitates ICRC operations worldwide through dialogue with government, civil society, military and diplomatic officials. The ICRC works in places of detention, helps clarify the fate of missing persons, reunites families separated by armed conflict and migration.
