Global Health Forum: As we prepare for the next possible test, what should we do to build stronger public health protection networks?

On June 1st to 4th, 2021, the Second Conference of Global Health Forum (GHF) of Boao Forum for Asia was held in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China. ICRC Vice President Gilles Carbonnier delivered a video speech at one of the plenary sessions on June 03. Mr. Gilles Carbonnier stressed the importance of international solidarity to respond to major public health emergencies. He summarized the lessons learned from the global response to COVID-19 pandemic and made recommendations on how to get prepared for the next possible global health emergency?
