Lake Chad: Responding to severe malnutrition in North East Nigeria
Conflict in the Lake Chad region has affected millions of people in Nigeria, Niger, Chad, and Cameroon.
As a result, malnutrition is one of the challenges that the civilian communities are facing. In 2016, ICRC has significantly scaled up its humanitarian response for those most in need in the North East by providing food, shelter and essential household items.
